Hinges with Round Corners

Based upon the type of hinge edge construction that is required to  accommodate this hinge, the use of this hinge is intended to be restricted to hollow metal, sheet metal and steel covered composite swinging type fire  doors, rated up to and including 3 h installed in pressed steel or channel  frames and wood swinging type fire doors, rated up to and including 1-1/2 h.

The hinges as herein described are to be installed in accordance with NFPA 80 (i.e., hinge spacing is to be one hinge for each 30 in. of door  height or fraction thereof, hinges are to be attached with steel screws,  etc.).

CONSTRUCTION DETAILS:

The hinges are to be constructed of steel as described herein and  within the provisions of NFPA 80. The hinges may be provided with a variety of finishes as defined in ANSI A156.18. All hinges shall be provided with  steel machine screws.
